The Pietra Pura range is the result of the fruitful partnership between Rocca delle Macìe and Puglian winery Terre di Sava. In line with the shared objectives of making the most of the native vines of the Salento area and of creating wines that express the very best of the terroir, the two maisons have combined their experience and expertise to create six different types of wine using Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes.
Mandus, Primitivo di Manduria DOC, and Dolceluna, Primitivo dolce naturale DOC, represent the high end of the range and are produced using grapes cultivated in vineyards selected by Rocca delle Macìe's technicians. The grapes are then vinified in the cellars of the Sava winery, under the watchful eye of the Zingarelli family's chief winemaker, Luca Francioni.
The same partnership also produces Silvarosa, Rosato Salento IGT, which is made using Negroamaro grapes. The other three wines that complete the range are Primitivo di Manduria IGT, Negroamaro IGT and Salice Salentino IGT, all of which are produced thanks to the synergies created between the technical teams of the two wineries.
