Our company is located in the heart of the Langhe, one of the geographical areas with the most ancient and wide tradition in wine growing and wine producing in Italy and the whole World.
The area of production is set between Barolo and Dogliani where some of the vineyards are located, to Roddino and th eneighboring towns, like Bussia Soprana, in Monforte d’Alba.
Here, in the old farm once belonged to “Il Generale”, the ageing process of selected wine stakes place.
Elegant, austere and noble, this wine is obtained from Nebbiolo grapes located in Neive and Treiso Area. After at least twenty-four months of ageing in large French oak barrels, it releases ruby red shades, with orange tingers. From our most ancient vineyards located near Vergne, both the traditional Barbera D’Alba, as well as its Superior version, are obtained from Barbera grapes through a medium-long maceration. The rigorous selections of bunches, allow us to diminish quantity but definitely increasing the quality.
