Musto Carmelitano has been a family-run farm for more than three generations of winemakers. The company consists of thirteen hectares , nine of which are dedicated to arable land and four to vineyards.
The Aglianico del Vulture grapes, coming from the company's vineyards, are scrupulously selected and harvested by hand, cultivated following the organic method. Furthermore, it takes care in transforming the grapes into wine with the goal of preserving all its precious organoleptic properties. In order for this to happen, we avoid using selected yeasts, clarifications and any intervention of st abilizzazione.
Fermentations start spontaneously, without sulfur dioxide and with only indigenous yeasts. Musto Carmelitano wines are produced in an artisanal way, respecting the environment and protecting the consumer.
The grapes of this wine derive from a careful selection of bunches with which a wine is obtained without adding sulphites. This bottle is produced only in the best vintages in small quantities. After about 20/30 days of maceration on the skins, aging in cement tanks continues for about 14 months before being bottled OFFER 12 BOTTLES
This wine is obtained from the grapes of the younger company vineyards. After the maceration process it is aged in steel tanks for about 12 months, after 4 months of aging in bottle it is marketed. The Maschitano Rosso fully represents the main grape of Vulture
The grapes of this wine come from the oldest company vineyard, located in Pian del Moro. The resulting wine is aged in steel tanks for 12 months, raised in 500-liter French oak barrels for about 12 months. It is marketed after a long refinement in the bottle
The grapes of this wine come from the company vineyard located in Serra del Prete. The resulting wine is aged in steel and cement tanks for about 12 months. It is bottled and left for 12 months to refine before marketing
