The grapes of this wine come from...
The determined search for perfect Italian harmony. This is the tireless work of Bellavista, which has developed a unique way of interpreting Franciacorta to develop a harmonious series of variations on a single theme: excellence.
To realise this dream Bellavista has rewritten the history of the area, choosing 190 hectares of vines, some of the best in Franciacorta for exposure, character and expressive potential. This rereading of this small wine-growing legacy has given rise to 107 small crus that express the intrinsic personality of the land and the most subtle nuances of its character and personality.
Until this point the work to capture the harmony of the land through viticulture that every day respectfully interprets nature and its rhythms. And then the great adventure of developing a oenological style that established a new interpretation of the art of producing a Franciacorta wine. The Bellavista cuvée are the result of horizontal and vertical blends of over 90 selections from 107 crus, and are harvested and fermented separately. This is the secret of the complexity, the balance and also the longevity of a style that is evident in every vintage and every variety. To ensure the longevity of this harmony, exceptional raw materials are required along with a fermentation process that exalts its qualities. Fermentation partially takes place in wooden barrels to guarantee the long-life and finesse of the base wines. The remuage is done strictly by “by hand” and ageing can last for up to 72 months as in the case of the Bellavista Vittorio Moretti. A “savoir faire” that has become very rare in the lands that produce sparkling wine, but which is applied with great pride and determination by Bellavista.
