FRANCIACORTA BRUT STORICA ’61 SATÈN

100% chardonnay, grown in various communes of Franciacorta, partly from Berlucchi estate vineyards, partly from vineyards under the direct control of Berlucchi vineyardists
Yield

Vinification
gentle, gradual pressing, with quality fractioning of the must, and initial fermentation in stainless steel
Maturation

Style
Brut
Sensory Characteristics
Appearance: soft and creamy mousse, with a long-lasting delicate cordon around the glass, and a long-lingering bead of fine, pin-point bubbles
Colour: intense straw yellow
Bouquet: elegantly rich, generous and multi-layered, with fragrances of peach, apricot and tropical fruit that become gradually more emphatic, then yield to notes of candied citrus fruit
Palate: displays a self-confident vein of tasty acidity and savoury flavours, which beautifully complement a full, firm structure. The finish, clean-sculpted and near-endless, completes a wine of rare pleasure
Serving Suggestion
in addition to being a superb aperitif, 61 Satèn is a wonderful partner to light risottos and seafood dishes. Wine lovers should try it too with Sauris, Parma, or San Daniele prosciutto, and with medium-aged cheeses

8 °C
