Growing notes

vineyard planted in 1980; 3 hectare. Spurred cordon pruning, spacing of 4,500 vines per hectare

Harvest

first half of September; hand picking, with careful bunch selection

Vinification and ageing

soft whole-berry press with destemming. Fermentation in steel vats for approximately 30 days at the controlled temperature of 16° C. Bottled after a brief ageing in steel with frequent stirring (batonnage)

Organoleptic characteristics

Color: straw yellow with golden highlights

Nose: Intense, characteristic of Chardonnay with definite acacia flower

Flavor: Fresh, full, savory and lingering
