This wine originates in a widespread area at the borders of the Barolo localities, both at the northern and the southern banks of the Tanaro River. These Nebbiolo grapes grow in vineyards located in Vergne on hills with 770-990 ft a.s.l. of altitude and exposure from South to South-West

Fermentation and maturation

The vinification process follows the tradition, with a about 6 days floating cap fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature
